My dearest friend,
My studies of brewing and the art of ales continues. Day and night I pore over old manuscripts and tomes - hops, yeast, fermentation, barley.... My studies are punctuated by breaks wherein I go on long walks in the surroundings of my tower. The garigue flora and the spray of sea water offers some respite from the smell of ancient musty paper and old beer jugs.
I am writing to you, my friend, not simply to share my woes, but also to ask for help, as I know you to be a keen puzzle-solver. The below puzzle was sent to me by an unknown person - simply left on my doorstep. The puzzle it contained was quite baffling as the images are unknown to me.
This is where I require your help, old friend. Uncover any clue or hint and let me know. I have no reward or gold to give to you, but my tower door is always open for a friend willing to share a pint or two of liquid gold.
