Geocache Description:

Historic Mills make for perfect geocache spots!

You're seeking a medium sized cache near two of Rocky Mount's own breweries. In an area full of micros, this is an addition to the few caches big enough to hold swag and TBs. Rocky Mount Mills was built in 1818, and is home to a lot of rich history. Battle House, the historic building nearest the cache, was built in 1835 by the son of the Mill's founder, and was one of the very few buildings spared by the Federal Cavalry's burning spree in 1863, because the superintendent of the mill and the Cavalry officer in charge were both Masons.
