Geocache Description:

Dirty, Dark, Damp and Depressing, travel deep in to Charlie's hole, and you will see it hanging like cherries from a tree! Mind out for the hundreds of small to medium-sized spiders preying down on you. Don't be down there too long, otherwise the very large moths will eat your clothes! No moth balls will help you here. It can be rather smelly too!

Please say when paper is getting low.

It's a nice smelly location cache set-up on a hot summer's day. It's a place I often walk past with Charlie, my dog.

The ground is very muddy, up to about 20cm of silt/mud to walk through - so Wellington boots are a must! Also, at the start of this underground tunnel, there are a few cast iron pipes to climb over; you can see a picture of one in the photos.

Another water-based cache in Oxford belongs to my friend Daniel Glover, it's the Boundary Brook: The underground one. https://coord.info/GC5X7TW

More water-based caches of Daniel's are miles away in Abingdon, but worth while doing.

A good hard water-based cache, which you can stand up for a good amount of distance but needs a flotation device, is: Stert stream

Another easier tunnel-based cache (no flotation device needed) is this: Radley brook

Not quite as difficult, but three foot head-height, so there's a lot of bending: Larkhill stream

Another wet one! The A34, the wet one

The last, Abingdon based water cache is this: Under the bridge, you might get wet

Hard water-based cache is this; it is in Wantage: Let's go up the concrete pipe. You will get wet
