Varrella Virran -sarja esittelee Keravanjoen maisemia kesäisin ja talvisin. Kyseisellä pätkällä joki on noin 6 - 12m leveä, syvimmillään 2,5m syvä, mutapohjainen ja ruskeavetinen sekä reheväkasvuinen. Kätkösarja on suunniteltu haettavaksi vedestä käsin esimerkiksi avokanootilla tai soutuveneellä tai talvisin kävellen tai luistellen (varmista jään riittävä paksuus!). Vältättehän kätköjä etsiessänne häiritsemästä ihmisten piha-alueita ja pyrittehän säilyttämään luonnon mahdollisimman hyvin koskemattomana. Jos näette roskia etsiessänne kätköjä, voisitteko ystävällisesti kerätä niitä talteen jotta Keravanjoki pysyy siistinä ja hyvänä ulkoilualueena. Kätköiltä kannattaa kerätä myös kirjaimella merkitty numero bonuskätköä varten (bonuskätköä ei vielä ole).
The Varrella Virran cache series gives you a look at Keravanjoki's scenery in both summer and winter. This part of the river is about 6 - 12m wide, 2,5m deep at the deepest point, mudbottomed with brown water and features a lot of plant growth. This series is meant to be searched for from the river by open canoe or rowing boat for example and walked or skated for on the river ice during wintertime (make sure the ice is thick enough!). Please refrain from disturbing people that live on the river while searching for these caches and try to leave no trace in the nature surrounding the river. If you notice trash while searching for these caches, could you kindly pick it up to keep Keravanjoki clean and tidy for other people to enjoy as well. While at the caches also pick up the hint numbers for the bonus cache that are marked by letters (bonus cache coming later).
Kumisaappaat ovat kesäaikaan hyvä varuste olla mukana tätä kätkösarjaa etsiessä. Rubber boots are good to have with in summertime while searching for these caches.
