Geocache Description:

UPDATED 08/04/02

*** A GOOD FLASHLIGHT WILL BE REQIRED ***

Since the original cache was stolen before anyone could find it I am changing this to a virtual cache. This site consists of a lava tube that is approximately ¾ of a mile long and does not require any special skills, or equipment, EXCEPT A FLASHLIGHT FOR EACH MEMBER OF YOUR PARTY!!! The lava tube is quite large and you never have to crawl or squeeze through any tight spaces. It is an interesting journey and I hope you enjoy the challenge. You might also want to bring some warm clothing, even during the summer months, portions of this location stay around 32 degrees, and the warmest it gets is about 40. Round trip from the starting point will take you about 1 hour.

This originally started as real cache site but the container was quickly stolen. In order to get credit for this find please post a picture of your team at the end of the lava tube. I have posted two pictures of rock formations that are located 10-20 feet from the VERY END of the tunnel. Use these locations as a reference for your photograph.
