16 miles from Boise(as the crow flies). This cache is hidden near an old mine. There are some unimproved roads to the camp. Great if you have a dirt bike or a quad. You can get close with a four wheel drive vehicle and then hike in. The altitude at the cache is around 4,600 feet. This is one or the coolest locations I have found in a long time, I would love to know the history of the camp.
The cache is in a clear plastic container with a black lid. It is placed at the base of a large boulder, and tucked in just underneath it. No rocks need to be moved, and you should be able to see it when you are about 10 feet away.
