Za tym wysokim murem mieszka kilkanaście kobiet, które nigdy go nie opuszczają. Zakon karmelitanek bosych to zakon klauzurowy. Wyjść z niego może tylko wybrana zakonnica w sprawie zakupów lub utrzymania. Ich twarze ma prawo oglądać tylko najbliższa rodzina. Z resztą ludzi kontaktują się zasłonięte czarnym materiałem i przez kraty. Jedyną możliwością przebywania na świeżym powietrzu jest ogród o niemałej powierzchni prawie 2 hektarów. Zakonnice budzą się o 05:30. Przez cały dzień pracują i modlą się. Czasu wolnego mają jedną godzinę po obiedzie i jedną godzinę po kolacji. Tylko wtedy mogą ze sobą rozmawiać. Ich praca polega na sprzątaniu kościoła, gotowaniu, praniu i zajmowaniu się ogrodem. Tak trudne warunki powodują, że zakonnic jest coraz mniej.

Behind this wall about a dozen of females live and they never leave it. The order of female carmelites is enclosed. Only the chosen nun can leave the walls just for shopping and maintenance purposes. The nuns' faces can be seen merely by the closest family. They can communicate with the rest of people through a dark curtain and bars. Their only opportunity to breathe fresh air is a pretty large, nearly 2 hectare (5 acres) garden. They wake up at 05:30. They work and pray for the whole day. They have one hour after dinner and one hour after supper of free time. It's the only time they can speak. Their work is cleaning a church, cooking, washing and gardening. Such severe conditions cause that there are less and less nuns.
