Welcome to WilderGuy’s Ride Along the Rainy Series!
This series is designed to help you make the most of your journey as you travel along the winding river that is the dividing border between two great countries, the United States and Canada. Take a second to step out in each of these locations and just take in the sheer beauty that the river provides. Each stop with something different to feast your eyes on. Be on the lookout for the wildlife that call this area home, who knows you may see some bald eagles, common loons, and deer… it’s hard to drive this stretch and not see deer… but if you’re lucky enough you might even see a black bear. Don’t worry, it is probably more afraid of you than you should be of it (still keep your distance though!). With all that said, enjoy the scenic drive along the Rainy River.
This cache is near where the Rainy River flows into Lake of the Woods making this one of the final caches in the journey along the Rainy. Be extra careful here as this is one of the busiest boat landings in the area. So come on out and enjoy the day and make the most of it!
Make sure to bring your own writing utensil!
