The low health score on this cache has remained below 60 since my last contact. I see no sign of any maintenance being done to correct this and I have had no response from the owner since my last contact. Due to the lack of response I have no idea if any corrective action has been taken or if the owner has confirmed the cache is still in place. Consequently I am archiving the cache at this time. If the owner does happen to complete the maintenance required and wish to activate the cache again just let me know and I will consider unarchiving it once the issue is resolved.

GOVERNMENT HOUSE – CANADA150

Welcome to Government House, a true Canadian treasure! Built in 1891, this grand building first served as the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of the Northwest Territories. Restored to the period of Lieutenant Governor Amédée Forget, a Francophone who became the first Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, the museum gives you a glimpse of life at Government House at the turn of the 20th Century.

Government House is a multi-purpose National Historic Site that also serves a modern purpose: since 1984, Government House has been the location of the Lieutenant Governor’s working office. Throughout the year, Lieutenant Governor Vaughn Solomon Schofield hosts several events, award ceremonies, and visitors at Government House.

Bienvenue à Government House, un véritable trésor canadien! Construit en 1891, ce grand bâtiment a d'abord servi de résidence officielle du lieutenant-gouverneur des Territoires du Nord-Ouest. Restauré à la période du lieutenant-gouverneur Amédée Forget, un francophone qui est devenu le premier lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan, le musée vous donne un aperçu de la vie à Government House au début du XXe siècle.

La Government House est un lieu historique national polyvalent qui sert également un but moderne: depuis 1984, elle est le siège du bureau de travail du lieutenant-gouverneur. Tout au long de l'année, le lieutenant-gouverneur Vaughn Solomon Schofield organise plusieurs événements, cérémonies de remise des prix et y accueille les visiteurs.
