SOGeo's coming to the coast to meet and greet the local cachers!

Greetings coastal cachers!!  

SOGeo - Southern Oregon Geocaching founders Socks and Amanda Smith are coming over to Brookings to teach a Geocaching 101 class to kids on Saturday July 8th and wanted to set up a meet and greet on the Friday night prior to talk with the local cachers and learn more about geocaching in the area.  We called and made reservations at Wild River Pizza in the hopes of meeting cachers and spending the evening sharing fun stories and adventures.

Here's the plan:

Who:  Anyone and everyone!

What:  A meet and greet with local cachers over some pizza and drinks

Where:  Wild River Brewing & Pizza

When:  Friday, July 7th, from 6-8 p.m.

Why:  For fun of course!!

We are really excited to have been invited to come over and teach a summer rec class to the kids in the area and have been very busy over in our own neck of the woods with Geocaching 101 classes, scheduling multiple events, and most recently (June 10th) our Discover Central Point Geocoin Challenge (GC72WE1).  We are looking forward to this adventure and hope to meet some wonderful new friends!
