SideTracked Day 2017
SideTracked Day is celebrated on the 10th of August every year, the anniversary of the first SideTracked cache. This year is special, because it is the 10th anniversary.
We will be meeting adjacent to the Hastings Miniature Railway. Geocachers old and new are most welcome. Come along and have a chat. Did I mention that there may be cake!
The event will be at at the listed coordinates at:
19:00 to 19:30 on Thursday 10th August 2017
Please log a Will Attend if you think you will be there. It would be nice to know that you're coming! :)
Profile Souvenir
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the SideTracked Series, on 10th August 2017, the series organisers will be publishing a unique souvenir that you will be able to add to your geocaching.com profile page.
What the souvenir will look like is still under wraps, but details of the previous years' souvenirs can be found at the following link, and this year's souvenir will be added to the page when it is released (including instructions how to add it to your profile).
SideTracked Geocoin
I hope to have some of these SideTracked 10th Anniversary Geocoins available at this event. I will add more details here if I get any.
I hope to be getting some of these geocoins but I'm not sure how many I'll have. None will be sold before event day , and I won't be reserving any coins for people or anything like that. They will be just sold on a first come first served basis. If the coin interests you, get there early!
OK folks I have an update on the geocoins. They will be £9 each in various finishes: Black Nickel - or EVENT coin, SILVER - Train Driver Edition, BRONZE - passenger Edition. They are not being sold for profit. As I have to purchase them in advance I won't be buying large quantities so if you are REALLY interested in one can you please express that interest in your "Will Attend" log so that I can tailor my order accordingly. For those who've already posted their "Will Attend" log a "Write Note" will suffice. I'll be sending off my order in a weeks time (23rd June 2017).

UPDATE 14 JULY - The number of geocoins I shall be getting has now been confirmed and is slightly fewer than I wanted due to national demand. On the night I will only have 3 event (Black Nickel), 3 driver (Silver) and 2 passenger (Bronze) geocoins for sale. Because of these low numbers I don't want to have cachers arguing about who attended first so you will need to have reserved a coin with me in advance. Payment on the night please. If you have reserved a coin but you don't attend the event or arrive after 19:30 I will sell the the coin to an attendee!
