Avast ye! Join us for a swashbuckling geocaching adventure through daring feats and stormy seas. Make yer way through a four week souvenir journey to find the lost treasure of Mary Hyde. Up to six digital souvenir moments are up for grabs, and on Geocaching.com is something new to be had…
- July 15-16 – Build your crew by attending or hosting an event and earn a souvenir. The more friends you have on Geocaching.com, the easier it will be to keep sailing on…
- July 17 – 23 – Though the treasure may seem far away, if you work together you’ll earn the first map piece one day.
- July 24 – 30 – Don’t be afraid to take the lead, to earn the next map piece you already have everything that you need.
- July 31 – August 6 – When you work with a crew, earning the third map piece becomes easier to do.
- August 7 – 13 – Challenge yourself to earn the last piece, or else the search for lost treasure will never cease.
BUILDING THE ARRRR CREW
To kick off this adventure, we are going to have a GRAND day for young and old
We will assemble the ARRRR crew for a first-up ARRRR breakfast at Suncoast Casino at the ARRRR Spur. Remember brekkies CLOSE at 11:00 se we suggest that the ARRRR crew arrive timeously (not like pirates...) to place their ARRRR orders by 10:30
Afterwards the ARRRR crew will be deployed on their FIRST ARRRR mission to a new nearby cache to get into the ARRRR swing of things. This will also be a definitive qualification to see if your sealegs are worthy of a Mary Hyde ARRRR mission!!

Time : 10:15 to order by 10:30. Breakfast will be served at 11:00 and eating / planning will continue to 12:30
Cost : Pirates don't pay.. SORRY - All costs to be paid from your own treasure chest
Parking : There is a R10 parking fee payable at the entrance. KEEP YOUR TICKET to be let out again
Cache : Details of the nearby cache will be announced during the breakfast
Remember to bring your plunder from previous pirating for all to discover!
