Mingalaba and Welcome to Myanmar, Land of Golden Pagodas!
This cache is probably the first TB Hotel in Yangon. It is hosted by my friend Wai Wai and located in the Sanchaung Township.
The box cache is placed outside the front door of a private establishment, and there is no obligation to enter the premises. It is large enough to hold several trackables all at once, and the location should be safe for hosting TBs. There is a dearth of geocaches in Myanmar, so in placing this easily accessible and sizeable cache, I hope to introduce this game to locals and to make it a more memorable trip for experienced geocachers.
Wai Wai's TB Hotel is a short 15-20mins walk from the city's premier tourist sight, the Shwedagon Pagoda. I wish you an amazing time in Myanmar, and I hope you enjoy the wonderful Burmese hospitality.
