Property Info - The Tannersville Cranberry Bog is a National Natural Landmark as the southern-most low-altitude boreal conifer swamp on the Eastern Seaboard. The Weiss Tract was a critical link in the future protection of the Bog. The public is allowed to enjoy the upland areas and trails at any time, and the upland portion of the Weiss Tract adjoins one of these trail areas. Please remember, The Nature Conservancy does not allow unaccompanied visits to the bog itself, but does offer guided tours. Please ensure the ecological integrity of the Bog by only hiking on the upland areas of the preserve.
