 The largest crater lake in Europe we are at Seppä, cache 35. This is a wooded area with no view of the beach.

 Sepää area is a valuable habitat to be cherished. The western shore of Lappajärvi has a very early road connection to Pietarsaari inthe 1700s it has been one of the most important rural municipality.Although the course of the road has changed over time, old roads can be deduced from pavements and places of old settlement. The very first settlement was located on the beach, but gradually moved along the road. Most of the buildings between the road and the lake were built in the 1960s.

 Euroopan suurin kraatterijärvi ympäri-kierroksella olemme Sepässä, kätköllä 35. Tällä kohtaa on metsäinen vyöhyke, eikä rantaa näy.

 Sepän alueen Puronvarsikorpi on arvokas luontokohde, jota pyritään vaalimaan. Lappajärven länsirantaa on hyvin aikaisin kulkenut tieyhteys Pietarsaareen. 1700-luvulla se on ollut yksi tärkeimmistä pitäjänteistä. Vaikka tielinjaukset ovat ajan saatossa muuttuneet, voi vanhat tienpaikat päätellä tilusteistä ja vanhan asutuksen paikoista. Aivan ensimmäinen asutus on sijainnut rannassa, mutta siirtynyt vähitellen tien varteen. Suurin osa maantien ja järven välissä sijaitsevista rakennuksista on rakennettu 60-luvulla.
