Geocache Description:

Join us for the official opening of the Grand Trunk Pacific Bridge which will extend the Headingley Grand Trunk Trail to the entrance to Beaudry Park and beyond. Naturally new geocaches will be involved. The event will commence at 1:00 on Saturday, June 3, 2017  at the posted coordinates which are on the east side of the bridge.

The event should be concluded by 2:45. You may wish to continue geocaching after the bridge opening.

 

 

 

When you arrive at the site, please register with markzsalmon - I'll be the guy with the geocaching hat and the HGTT t shirt. You will find me close to the posted coordinates.

Additional enticements include hot dogs, cup cakes and water (drinkable) as well as a number of delicious prizes. There will also be great fellowship with other geocachers as well as future geocachers. It is an event designed for all ages. I expect there will be a young lady who has not celebrated her first birthday. Cpome and help us to celebrate some new geocaches  ( although some may celebrate a new bridge).

There will be at least 15 new geocaches available.
