Geocache Description:

Another Bucks, Beds & Herts event for the gathering of cachers -even those from beyond the borders of these counties- to discuss geocaching, eat, drink and be Mary. As an aside, today's the 10th birthday of my St Kilda cache so there's an island theme. Please wear something appropriate. I have Leis to hand out... In addition to this, I hope you'll join in with playing a caching-centric version of Just a Minute. We need four teams.

Where: The Honey Bee, Trenchard Street, Fairford Leys, Aylesbury. HP19 7AA. 01296 708363.

When: From 7pm on Thursday June 22nd 2017, til 10pm at the earliest.

What: A gathering of- Buzz! Repetition. A correct challenge. Oh yes. I called it that earlier. This is an unusual caching event for cachers to meet, discuss geocaching, swap travel items and in a new development for these err- Buzz! Hesitation. Yes, a correct challenge. Just a Minute is a Radio 4 gameshow which was first broadcast in 1967. It's almost always been fronted by the remarkable Nicholas Parsons, who happens to live locally at Ilmer. The format has been adapted to suit high-tech treasure hunters using GPS-enabled devices to locate hidden containers, and your host will bring a fine selection of questions, a stopwatch, a whistle and a set of buzzers. The trick is to speak on a subject for 60 seconds without hesitation, repetition or deviation from that topic.

Who: The seekers of truth, but mostly Tupperware in the woods. The venue isn't open to dogs though, sadly.

Why: Because Liberal Giraffe had to bump his event to- Buzz! Repetition of event. Well remembered. Yes, that's another correct challenge and there's only 8 seconds to go! Richard, who is known by another name while engaged in this strange pastime, has moved his social get-together for players of this hobby to July, leaving June available and SP stepped in. He- Peep! You were speaking as the whistle blew so you get an extra point...

How: By car, or via train, as a 20min walk from Aylesbury railway station.

Don't forget, this event also has an Island theme. Feel free to wear your Hawaiian-style shirt, or pretend you misunderstood and wear green. For Ireland. Aloha!
