YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO ON THE BALLFIELDS OR THE COURTS for this cache.
The walkways are mostly level, and paved or gravel. You'll need to take a few steps away from the trail for the cache or to gather info, and there may be muggles, depending on your timing. The park closes at sunset, except for the tennis courts, and we should respect that. I wanted this to be an easy puzzle. So, it's another one of "those" kinds of puzzles.
The first thing you need to do is find the tennis courts rules sign, and collect some info to get the hide coordinates. Then there's a little fill in the blanks and advanced math: only addition or subtraction, and maybe a minor units conversion.
The cache container isn't my favorite size or type, by far, but I found it laying out abandoned somewhere, thought I'd recycle it, and it seemed to go OK in the hiding place here. Please very carefully disassemble and reassemble, and replace it as found. If you have any difficulty with that, just leave it nearby and send me a note. It was washed and repaired some before hiding, but please let me know how it's holding up.
Coordinates could be a little fuzzy. Feel free to let me know (without logging spoilers).
Here's what to fill in to get the cache coordinates:
N 35 1(C+B).KLF W 080 3D.E(L+H)G
Here's the info I thought was interesting on the sign. You'll need to take note of some or all of it:
How many numbered rules are on the tennis courts rules sign: __ (AB)
Which rule # prohibits glass? _ (C)
Which rule # prohibits a fundamental American goal on the court? _ It's a how-many letter word? _ (D, E)
How long is the time limit if others are waiting? (FG) minutes
When will lights turn off in summer? __ in winter? __ (HI, JK)
How many courts may the town reserve? _ (L)
I hope you enjoy your little walk in the park.
