Cette géocache vous invite devant des formes impressionnantes de granite rose à Trégastel. Elle nécessite de se rendre sur le waypoint fréquemment recouvert par la marée, soyez donc vigilant et ne négligez ni horaires ni coéfficients !
Parmi tous les paysages granitiques qui contribuent largement à asseoir l’image touristique de la Bretagne, ceux du granite de Ploumanac’h sont certainement les plus connus, les plus réputés, au point d’avoir donné leur nom à cette partie du littoral français, la Côte de Granit (e) rose (Aod ar Vein Ruz).
En vous rendant sur les rochers à l'ouest de la Plage des Curés de Trégastel, vous rencontrerez, sortie du granite rose, un puissant filon d’aplite de couleur rose clair, large de près d'un mètre, issu du granite intermédiaire.
Il recoupe à l'emporte-pièce le granite rose dans lequel il peut même découper des enclaves anguleuses de petite dimension, signifiant par là qu'il a pénétré dans un matériau totalement cristallisé et refroidi quand le granite à grain fin et son cortège filonien se sont mis en place. This geocache invites you to impressive forms of pink granite in Trégastel. It requires to go to the waypoint which is often covered by the tide, so be vigilant and do not neglect neither schedules nor coefficients!
Of all the granite landscapes that contribute largely to the tourist image of Brittany, those of the granite of Ploumanac'h are certainly the best known, the most famous, to the point of having given their name to this part of the French littoral, The Pink Granite Coast (Aod ar Vein Ruz).
Going to the rocks west of Trégastel's Curés beach, you will come across a powerful pinkish-colored apex of pink granite, nearly one meter wide, from the intermediate granite.
