This park was purchased by the Pocono Area Recreation Commission in 2000 with funds from the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the Monroe County Open Space Bond. This 55 acre park is the site of the former Pocono Mountain Inn, which was well known in its day for its breathtaking panoramic views of the Delaware Water Gap. Today the scenic overlook is still one of the main attractions; visitors are drawn from the parking lot to the beautiful vista immediately upon entering the park. The remainder of the property offers passive recreational opportunities, featuring a small system of walking trails lined with wildflowers and simple outdoor fitness equipment.
