Please join NNJC as we maintain the Camp Jefferson trail system we installed in 2009 and then join us at a meet and greet lunch. While enjoying the pot luck lunch we will also congratulate IMSpider on his recent 100,000th find.
Please plan on joining the trail crew as we need our NNJC members and non members help to maintain the trail, and make ready for the season. Please volunteer as much or as little as possible, please bring your own leaf blowers and tools. Then bring your "pot-Luck" lunch and goodies to share with the geocachers.
Trail Maintenance:
In August 2009, NNJC partnered with Camp Jefferson/ Jefferson Township and with the help of our volunteers, created a new 1 1/2 mile trail loop from Camp Jefferson to Mahlon Dickerson County Park. Hikers, geocachers, outdoor enthusiasts, campers, etc. all benefit from the construction of these blazed trails. The upper trail is also currently used as part of the Highlands Trail system. NNJC has held its "G.O.N.E." events here as well, this year's will be October 30th. The work will involve clipping, and removing debris from the trail, raking, and leaf blowing.
