Buena Vista, Colorado, U.S.A Rodeo Grounds
The Buena Vista Rodeo Grounds sits at the base of the majestic Mt. Princeton mountain. Everywhere you look there is an amazing view, in every direction. The grounds are home to the Collegiate Peaks Stampede Rodeo the 2nd weekend in June. Dating back to 1922, the Rodeo is a fun experience just waiting for you and your family this summer. Along with holding annual rodeo events here, there is the outstanding Cotin-Tail Gem and Rock show held here in the second week of August of every year. The area to the east of the rodeo grounds is one of Buena Vista's dog park. Off leash is allowed here and your pup will love it. But keep an eye, herds of antelopes are known to run through the area, sometimes with a herd of friendly dogs following them :)
