Karlskoga kommun är ägare till en rik kulturskatt i form av olika konstverk. Tavlor utgör merparten - men i stadens offentliga utomhusmiljö finns många skulpturer och andra utsmyckningar. I en del fall ger sig inte utsmyckningarna ut för att vara konstverk, men de är likafullt tillkomna för att berika upplevelsen av vår vardagsmiljö.
Det är en stor blandning av lokala, regionala och nationella "skapare". En del av verken är köpta och andral är donerade. Karlskogas första konstdonation är "Morgon" (1940) av Oscar Antonsson som idag står på Alfred Nobels torg. Denna skulptur fanns tidigare inne på "Borggården" i dåvarande stadshuset, men flyttades när fastigheten blev privatägd.

Cirkelsegment
En av konstnärerna som fått möjlighet att visa sin konst i stadens utemiljö är Göran Danielsson vars verk “Cirkelsegment” kom på plats år 1974. I omgivningen runt Karlskoga lasarett finns totalt 16 st polykroma plastbågar fördelade i fem grupper och i närheten av en av dessa grupper finns cachen.
Var försiktig när du letar efter gömman. Du behöver inte och SKA inte flytta på några av de små skifferstensbitarna som omger bågarna.
Karlskoga Municipality is the owner of a rich cultural treasure in the form of various works of art. The majority are paintings - but in the city's public outdoor environment there are also numerous sculptures and other decorations. In some cases, the decorations are not to be seen as artwork, but they are nonetheless placed there to enrich the experience of our everyday environment.
There is a great mix of local, regional and national "creators". Some of the works have been bought and some have been donated. Karlskoga’s first art donation is the sculpture "Morgon" (morning) by Oscar Antonsson, which today stands at the town square. This sculpture was previously placed at the courtyard of the former Town Hall, but was moved when the property was sold to a private owner.

Cirkelsegment
One of the artists who was given the opportunity to display his art in the city’s outdoor environment is Göran Danielsson, whose artwork “Cirkelsegment” (circular segment) came into place in 1974. In the surroundings of Karlskoga hospital there are a total of 16 polychrome plastic frames divided into five groups, and in the vicinity of one of these groups you will find the cache.
Be careful when looking for the cache. You do not need to, you MUST not, move any of the small slate pieces that surround the artwork.
