A short hike to a extensive view in a state park. Sunken Mine Road is officially closed in winter, but it has been repaired and is not too bad to drive.
The cache is a 30 cal ammo can stocked with lot's of goodies. This cache now has a NYS Office of Parks,Recreation and Historical Preservation Cache Permit (#F0502) issued on 3/2/05 by William Bauman, the park superintendent.
