mind the barbed wire
We decided to add an extension to the HAH series and give some options. Parking is still readily available at the church. Going was generally very good for this time of the year and only slight inclines except for a bit of a climb to HAH53 back to the car park. There are signs that you may encounter livestock in a couple of places, but hopefully without incident. There are many stiles and lots of bridges but all manageable with little trouble. There are another 25 caches in the bottom loop and another six which can be done as c & d's either before or after the walk just to help your stats. There are also a few other caches that can be picked up on your way around. All caches are placed to be found of varying type and difficult, but if you have done any of our other series you will have a rough idea of what to expect. The bottom loop of 25 is around 7k and you should be able to complete it in 3 hours. Where direction from one cache to the next is unclear, we have added guidelines in the cache description, so no real excuses for getting lost.
