Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Ninth Annual CITO + Rochester's LBB.

Bags provided, please bring your own gloves

Earth Day is April 22nd, and Rochester's Litter Bit Better campaign is the week of April 22-29, it's a good excuse to remind all of us to do some CITO. Plus partnering with LBB means they provide all bags, provide pick up, and disposal.

Where: Cascade Lake Park
When: April 26, 2017 from 1800-2000
Who: Environmental Cachers
What: A CITO for Mother Earth
Why: To pay if forward and clean up a Rochester City Park
How: Any means necessary

This CITO event begins at 1800; bring your own gloves and beverage. Please also bring waterproof boots or waders if you own them, there's shore line that'll need cleaning. Through LBB, we'll provide the bags (separate ones for trash and recyclables), and arrange for pick-up and disposal of all the trash that you bring back to the parking area.

The waivers LBB requires will be present at the table near parking from 1800-1830; you must sign the waivers during this time. Anyone under the age of 18 needs to have an adult present to sign for them as well. At 1945 we'll regroup at the table to tell stories about the strangest things we found while doing CITO, brag about how much trash you managed to grab, etc. Note the coordinates of any trash that's too big or hazardous and bring those to the regroup at 1945, we can report them for the City to remove.
