Everybody knows the secret of Number 42.
Or almost everybody.
Wikipedia describes it as "42 (forty-two) is the natural number that succeeds 41 and precedes 43".
Douglas Adams said "number 42 is a nice number, that you can take home and introduce to your family". But later (or/and before) he has discovered the natural law of number 42 in the exact way:
42: The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything.
And this is absolutelly right, in many ways.

What means number 42 for me personally?
When I started to play geocaching, there was a date 29-Jul-2012 in calendar.
When you count these numbers, you have 29+7+2+0+1+2, so you ave 41.
This is just one number before the number 42.
Coincidence?
I was really interested into meeting people, make social connections, play together, have fun and enjoy ... but not be and play alone.
Therefore I have started to organise just events first. I have placed my first physical geocache not very loooong time time, before that time I also have some addopted.
And now, visiting Seattle, this is my event number 42.
Surprised?
Take the today´ s event date. 2017-April-10. You could read it many ways, but you also could count it in a special way: 20+1+7+4+10.
And this is exactly 42.
Cool one?
We live in Slovakia. Bratislava City. Street number 41. Just one number before the 42.
Just another coincidence?
We come here from Slovakia, Central Europe. Formerly was Slovakia part of the Czechoslovakia, before the country splits into Czech republic and Slovakia.
Do you remember the calling codes for the countries?
+42 is the historic country calling code for the former country of Czechoslovakia. Crazy!?
+420 is now the calling codes for Czech Republic and +421 for Slovakia.

Why not?
Short introduction
We are two geocachers from Bratislava, Slovakia, Central Europe. Father and son.
We will start our trip in San Francisco and the Bay and Valley area, later travel north we visit Seattle and Portland and before leaving home we will also enter Canada for some caches. Our focus now is to find the old, virtual and the best awarded geocaches in these areas.
We also like to meet and greet some local geocachers as well.
