This cache has been archived.

CaoimheBaxter6: I've tried three different locations around the village and each cache has gone missing. So I think its time for this one to go.

Geocache Description:

The church:

The present All Saints Church in Rackenford dates mainly from the 15th Century, bar the south door arch which is 14th Century. The first reference to a church on the site, however, is from 1239. The building is in the Early English style and includes a tower containing six bells. The font dates from the reign of Henry II.

The cache:

This is a simple two-stage multi requiring the collection of some numbers from a monument within the churchyard and the finding of a final container a short distance away. I would recommend walking from the church to the final as there is no parking available at the latter location. You are looking for homemade container. Please re-hide well and camouflage with natural materials

The headline coordinates will take you to the grave of Mary Ann and Sidney Crocker.

Mary died in the year ABCD, aged E3

while Sidney died aged FG.

The coordinates of the physical cache are:

N 50º G F . (E / C) (D - C) (F - A)

W 003º C D . (B - F) [ZERO] (E + A)

The cache itself should be a fairly straightforward find.
