Beware, all ye who enter! This seemingly simplistic maze is more complex than it first appears. As you travel through the maze, the walls will close behind you, and new passageways will open ahead of you. Is it the maze that's constantly shifting and changing, or is it an illusion of the light as it plays across the walls? You may be going in circles, but that might be just what's needed to finally escape!
This is a type of rolling cube maze. Your goal is to roll a cube from the start square to the finish square. First, cut out the t-shaped form below and fold it into a 6-sided cube. Place it on the start square with the arrow on top, facing "north" (up). To traverse the maze, you must tip the cube over to a new side as you move. You may never slide, lift, or twist the cube. As you enter each new square, the top face of the cube will represent your position, essentially taking the place of the square you are sitting on top of. The other sides of the cube can be ignored until they become the new top face.
You may only move in a direction if there is an open passageway on the top face of the cube AND the corresponding passageway is also open in the square you are moving into. For example, the initial cube face would let you move west, east, or south. You are allowed to move east into the maze, because the first square you will enter has a corresponding opening on its west side. Once you enter, north, east, and south are all valid moves, but you can't go back out the way you came -- the maze already changed and trapped you inside! This also means you can only enter the finish square if the top cube face has an opening to the east.
