Bad Man Jose: Thanks to all who visited in the past & helped with maintenance. Over time the jungle & road work have not been kind to the containers & it’s time for them to be retired. The locations are freed up for others to do placements.

Geocache Description:

Take the blue #4 bus from Centro to Paso Ancho and Paso del Guayabo (8 pesos). This cache is one in a series of placements along the backroads in and beyond Paso del Guyabo. The terrain is hilly and a moderate level of fitness is required if doing the entire series on foot. The hike is best done early in the morning before it gets too hot — be sure to bring sufficient water with you.

Some "bouldering" is required to get up this usually dry stream bed. May be difficult during the rainy season.

This is an easy 5-stage multi cache.

1. Stage 1 - How many large butterflies are on the sign? [A] [Stage 1 is missing; A=6]

2. Stage 2 - How many parrots are on the sign?

3. Stage 3 - How many birds are on the sign? [C]

4. Stage 4 - How many birds are on the sign? [D]

5. Stage 5 - How many fish are on the sign? [E]

Add A+B+C+D+E to get X and use X in the following equation:

Tome el autobús azul # 4 desde Centro hasta Paso Ancho y Paso del Guayabo (8 pesos). Este caché es uno de una serie de ubicaciones a lo largo de los backroads dentro y más allá de Paso del Guyabo. El terreno es montañoso y un nivel moderado de condición física es necesario si se hace toda la serie a pie. La caminata es mejor hacer temprano en la mañana antes de que se caliente demasiado - asegúrese de llevar suficiente agua con usted.

Se requiere un poco de "boulder" levantarse este cauce normalmente seco. Puede ser difícil durante la temporada de lluvias.
