Cet itinéraire familial est l’accès principal et le plus direct pour rejoindre Girolata qu’empruntait chaque jour Guy Ceccaldi, le célèbre facteur, pour acheminer le courrier aux habitants du village. Pendant une trentaine d'années et par tous les temps, ce magnifique sentier, il parcourait ce magnifique sentier à travers le maquis pour rejoindre les habitants de Ghyrulatu.
This family route is the most direct and main access to join Girolata which borrowed every day Guy Ceccaldi, the famous factor(mailman), to forward the mail in inhabitants of the village. • Itinéraire aller : Se garer sur le parking du Col de la Croix. Le sentier part au niveau de la buvette (panneaux). Suivre le balisage orange pour descendre jusqu’à la plage de Tuara. Traverser cette dernière, au fond de la plage emprunter le sentier de gauche (panneau « chemin du facteur »). Le chemin, un peu escarpé remonte et évolue en balcon au-dessus de la côte, pour redescendre ensuite sur le village.
• Itinéraire retour : Soit par le même itinéraire, soit par la variante du Mare e Monti : au fond de la plage de Girolata laisser le chemin du facteur sur votre droite et suivre le balisage orange pour remonter dans le maquis en passant devant le cimetière. Au niveau d’un embranchement laisser sur sa gauche le Mare e Monti en direction de Curzu pour redescendre à droite sur la plage de Tuara. Cette variante évolue sur un sentier moins escarpé que le chemin du facteur, mais rajoute un peu plus de dénivelé. Remontez enfin au Col de la Croix par le même sentier emprunté à l’aller. Possibilité également de réduire votre temps de marche retour par une dépose en bateau (s’adresser à la capitainerie du port).
