Geocache Description:

Numero Uno in the series should be a quickie. When I was scoping out this spot, I got attacked by fire ants (or antigators, as I like to call them, among other things), hence the title. Be on guard! PLEASE REPLACE THE CONTAINER WHERE YOU FOUND IT!

The Pearson Ranch Road is a little traveled byway extending from White Settlement Road to FM 730. Built for ranch access, it is pretty narrow in spots but paved most of the way. I placed these caches allowing plenty of sight distance for drivers, but be sure to keep the young ones close when that occasional vehicle appears. It's also a good idea to stay to the right when approaching hilltops.

As with other remote roadways around the county, other folks may stop and ask if you need help. You can usually ward them off with a wave and a smile. Sunday is probably the best day to attempt the series and avoid contact with other motorists.

This series has a general theme: situations in which we find ourselves from time to time throughout our lives. Some will be the typical roadside quickie, but others not so much. I hope you enjoy the variety. Be sure and bring a pen! All caches are accessible from the road-side of the fence lines - there is no reason to cross any fences.

Finally, there are a lot of thorny plants growing along the fence lines in places. I tried to hide the caches away from these, but in your searching you may get too close. Please be careful because some may reach out and grab you if you're not watching!

The main thing is... HAVE FUN!
