Geocache Description:

Village signs is a series of caches based on the ornate signs that depict the heritage, history and culture of the villages that put them up (normally on the village green!).

                                                                       VS #1035 Fersfield

Fersfield is a village in Norfolk. It was the home parish of Francis Bloomfield, whose History of Norfolk documents the history of much of South Norfolk, and forms part of the parish of Bressingham & Fersfield and (more commonly just Bressingham). The population of the village is included in the parish of Banham.

At the village sign you will see a notice board showing footpaths use the number of the walks of each colour to find the coordinates

Orange walk = A

Yellow walk = B

Red walk = C

N52 24.0(C+C+A)0   E001 01.(C*3)A(C+A)

If anybody would like to expand this series please do. I would just ask that you let Smokeypugs know first so they can keep track of the Village Sign numbers and names to avoid duplication.
