VS # 1031 Bunwell
Bunwell is a large parish in Norfolk, situated 6/7 miles from the market towns of Attleborough & Wymondham. It extends across 5 miles of agricultural countryside and encompasses the hamlets of Great Green, Little Green, Bunwell Hill and Low Common. Situated at the heart of South Norfolk and consisting of several medieval hamlets, Bunwell is a working environment with safe and peaceful areas to live and work.
The parish includes the hamlets of Bunwell Hill, Bunwell Street, Great Green, Little Green and Low Common. Often overlooked as visitors head for quaint New Buckenham, this oddly widespread community is centred on a church, primary school, village hall and homes of mixed heritage - although some clearly date from Shakespearean times. Most residents commute to the city of Norwich or town of Diss.
