Rūjienas Sv. Bērtuļa baznīca 

Rūjienas Sv. Bērtuļa (Bartolomeja) baznīca celta gandrīz vienā laikā ar Rūjienas ordeņa pili 1259. – 1263.g. Tā ir viena no vecākām un lielākām baznīcām Vidzemē, ārpus Rīgas.

Sākotnēji romāniska taisnstūra garenplāna halles tipa baznīca pēc 1450. – 1480.g. pārbūves pārtop par trīsjomu gotikas baziliku ar taisnstūra altārgala (prezbitērija) izbūvi. Ziemeļu fasādes daļā altārim piebūvēta sakristeja, baznīcas galveno ieeju rotā smailkoka perspektīvais portāls.

Baznīcas vēsture saistīta ar nepārtrauktiem postījumiem un atkal “augšāmcelšanos”. Vidzemē grūti atrast vēl tik bieži un pamatīgi postītu kulta celtni.

2002.gadā tiek veikts sakristejas kapitālais remonts. Kopš 2003.gada Vasarsvētkiem baznīcu rotā atjaunotais vēsturiskais altāris un kancele.

Šobrīd draudzes vadība ir uzticēta mācītājam Edijam Kalekauram.

Rujiena St. Bartholomew church 

Rujiena St. Bartholomew (Bartholomew) church was built almost at the same time Rujiena Order Castle 1259. - 1263.g. It is one of the oldest and largest church in Vidzeme, outside Riga.

Originally Romanesque rectangular hall type of church after 1450. - 1480.g.rebuilding transformed into a three-sphere Gothic basilica with a rectangular altārgala (presbytery) construction. Northern front part of the altar annex completed in the sacristy, the church main entrance is decorated with smailkoka perspective portal.

Church history due to the continued destruction and again "resurrection." Vidzeme difficult to find even less frequently and thoroughly demolished places of worship.

2002 is made vestries overhaul. Since 2003, Pentecost church is decorated with restored historic altar and pulpit.

Currently, the church leadership is entrusted to a pastor Edijs Kalekaurs.
