An opportunity to see a lovely view over Buckinghamshire's rolling countryside towards the Thames valley.
The cache is in woodland, near a great view. It's one of those spots you would never find on your own, and is relatively unknown. On a good day, take a camera and you should get some nice pictures. It's a popular dog-walking area, so if you're inclined follow the path past the cache and you can walk for an hour or more. These woods have many different types of wildlife and plantlife. The trees are traditional old English species. Email us as many different types as you can! There are also beautiful wild flowers at most times of the year. The wildlife includes pheasants, magpies, owls (you'll hear them if you go just after nightfall), deer, badgers, foxes and much more. Children will probably have fun identifying all the different flora and fauna. Parking at N051 35.722 / W000 40.308 is closest and the path leaves the car park heading South. Cache contains: logbook, nice new waterproof torch with batteries, Thomas the Tank Engine toy, small sweets bag, small hairbands, funky paper clips, waiter's friend corkscrew.
