Geocache Description:

VILLAGE SIGN CASTON

It appears that the name Caston comes originally from the Old English of Cattstun but the earliest reference of the name, when it was shown as Catustuna, is recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086

Caston is a small East Anglian agricultural village situated some 18 miles south-west of Norwich, Norfolk.  While there is some beef cattle here the main industry is arable farming

Date the sign was erected = ABCD

Cache can be found at N52 32.(C-A) A (C-A)   E000 52. (C+A) (C-A) (B-C)

If anybody would like to expand this series please do. I would just ask that you let Smokeypugs know first so they can keep track of the Village Sign numbers and names to avoid duplication.
