Geocache Description:

Another in the Church Micro series.

You must either sign the log sheet or post a pic of the logsheet on the cache page (no spoilers please) LOGS WITH NO SIGNATURE OR PICTURE WILL BE DELETED.

Founded in 1828, St Mary’s church lies at the bottom of Langley Lane in Birch and belongs to the Church of England and one of three churches within the Parish of Langley. I wanted to include this church in the series as the usual ones I’ve seen are rather grander looking than this is and there’s some interesting local history surrounding this one including the interesting tale of The Gypsy Grave of Mulderbriar Herrin. Can you find his grave in the church graveyard?

A full history of the church can be found on their website here http://www.stmarybirch.org.uk/
