VS #1008 Thuxton Traditional Geocache

Village signs is a series of caches based on the ornate signs that depict the heritage, history and culture of the villages that put them up (normally on the village green!).

Thuxton is a small village in the English county of Norfolk, six miles north west of Wymondham and five miles south east of Dereham. The village retains a church, St.Pauls.

The village is located just off the B1135 Wymondham to Dereham road, and is served by a station on the Mid-Norfolk Railway heritage line.

Thuxton is also listed as a deserted medieval linear village, with twenty-nine tofts having been located
