De Beaucaire à Sète, le canal du Rhône à Sète relie le Rhône au Canal du midi sur environ 100 Km en traversant Camargue et étangs. Vous êtes ici sur le tronçon Palavas les Flots - Villeneuve les Maguelone où le canal croise le fleuve côtier le Lez, puis sépare l'étang de Arnel au nord et l'étang du Prevost au sud, puis passe entre l'étang de Vic et l'étang de Pierre Blanche. Par temps de pluie le chemin de halage comporte de la boue. L'été, prévoir un chapeau, de l'eau, de l'anti moustiques. English From Beaucaire to Sète, the Rhône canal at Sète connects the Rhone with the Canal du Midi for about 100 km crossing Camargue and ponds. You are here on the stretch Palavas les Flots - Villeneuve Maguelone where the canal crosses the coastal river Lez, then separates the pond of Arnel to the north and the Prevost pond to the south, then passes between the pond of Vic and the pond of Pierre Blanche. In rainy weather the towpath has mud. In summer, provide a hat, water, mosquito repellent.
