Till detta område på norra sidan av Valhallavägen flyttade Svea artilleriregemente under slutet av 1870-talet när de lämnade sin tidigare förläggning vid Riddargatan (nuvarande Armémuseum). På delen närmast Lidingövägen etablerades även Generalstabens stalletablissement med stall och ridhus i tegel och en trävilla. 1946 flyttade Svea artilleriregemente vidare till Rissne. Under mitten av 1950-talet övertogs sedan stalletablissementet av Swartlings Ridskola. 1993 klassades byggnaderna som byggnadsminne. Ridskolan flyttade senare härifrån och byggnaderna köptes av Akademiska hus med avsikten att bygga nya lokaler till Kungliga Musikhögskolan som var i stort behov av större lokaler. Efter många år av juridiska tvister blev det till slut klart att de gamla stallbyggnaderna inte fick rivas och istället startade arbetet med att bygga nya lokaler i anslutning till stallbyggnaderna. 2016 var de nya byggnaderna närmast Valhallavägen klara och Musikhögskolan kunde flytta in. De tidigare lokalerna har rivits i två omgångar, först de hus som stod där du nu befinner dig och under hösten 2016 revs de äldre delarna längre norrut. Där sprängs nu berget bort för att ge plats åt nya bostadshus kallade Svea Symfoni och Svea Serenad som bildar en fortsättning på de hus som redan byggts, Svea Fanfar.

To this area on the north side of Valhallavägen moved Svea Artillery Regiment in the late 1870s when they left their previous camp at Riddargatan (now the Army Museum). On the part nearest Lidingövägen also established General Staff establishment with stables and riding stables in brick and a wooden villa. 1946 Svea Artillery Regiment moved on to Rissne. During the mid-1950s the establishment was taken over by Swartling Riding School. 1993 the buildings were classified as historic building. The riding school later moved away and the buildings were bought by the Akademiska hus with the intention to build new premises for the Royal College of Music who was in great need of larger premises. After years of legal disagreements, it finally became clear that the old stable buildings were not allowed to be demolished and instead started the work to build new premises adjacent to the stables. 2016 was the new buildings were you are standing now ready and the Royal College of Music could move in. The former premises have been demolished in two rounds; first the newer parts were you are standing now and during autumn 2016 the older parts to the north. Now the mountain is blown away to make way for new residential buildings called Svea Symfoni and Svea Serenad forming a continuation of the houses already built, Svea Fanfar.
