This cache has been archived.

lpyankeefan: Many thanks to all who chose to take time out of their busy schedules and join us for at least a little while. FTF honors have been bestowed, final page edits completed and future events planned. Please do keep an eye out for upcoming events in the greater Hagerstown/Four State/Washington, D.C Metroplex. There's ALWAYS a reason to come together and share in the fun!!! [;)]

As to this event:

'It's passed on! This event is no more! It has ceased to be! 'It's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'It's a stiff! Bereft of life, It rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed 'it to the perch 'it'd be pushing up the daisies! 'It's metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'It's off the twig! 'It's kicked the bucket, 'It's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisible!! THIS IS AN EX-EVENT!! [xx(]

Geocache Description:

Friday evening in Hagerstown in the middle of winter. Sounds like an excuse to get together, break bread and spin some yarrns about caches found and trip yet to be made! Come on out to one of my favorite locations to get together and join me for a geocaching event.

Who:
Why YOU, of course...whether you have one cache find or a thousand cache finds, please feel free to come join us for a small meet and greet.

When:
Friday, January 20th, 2017
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Where:
Pennsylvania Dutch Farmer's Market
1583 Potomac Avenue
Hagerstown, MD 21742
(240) 420-8555

Why:
To eat delicious food, talk geocaching, and trade bugs. Those who wish to may also do some geocaching before or after the event.

Extra things to keep in mind:

  • If you pick up a Travel Bug or trackable coin at one of the events, make sure you log it out so it doesn't show up in the events list. If a trackable sits as being listed in the event for a couple of months, the cache owner is the one that gets the e-mail from the TB owner(s).
  • Each person attending will be responsible for any costs incurred for food and drinks.
  • Pennsylvania Dutch Farmer's Market accepts cash, debit and credit cards. Individual vendors however MAY differ. Please check the website http://www.padutchmarket.com/blue-mountain-deli for vendor information and call ahead for specific information...

FTF honors go to GR8Caches!!! Congratulations!!!
