Isle Lake’s name refers to the presence of several islands. In the past Isle Lake was called Lac des Isles and Lac des Islets. Now it is known locally as Lake Isle. On the southeast side of the lake, Kokomoko is a day use site with numerous unmarked trails, 10 day campsites and a gravel boat launch.
This geocache was part of the Parkland County GeoTour – Series 1 which has now ended.
