Cuban Art Series #2
El Ojo del Ciclón is actually an art gallery and mixed media social space created by the renowned Leo D'Lazaro, a Cuban artist. I discovered Leo and his work some years ago on an art tour of La Habana and have returned many times since. As you'll see, his space drips with creativity and you could spends months exploring every little corner of the gallery before you'd be able to feel like you got a good look. Leo keeps a workshop in the building and regularly hosts Tango classes up front in the evenings. You'll find him there most days and otherwise you'll likely run into one of his friends who will be more than willing to show you around the space or help you explore Havana like a local. They're truly a wonderful family and I'd love to hear any stories you have after your visit!
The cache: You're looking for a container located outside the of the gallery. It'll be accessible 24/7 but since local muggles are always lurking, extreme stealth is required!
Congrats to Dgwente and michal.bryxi on the FTF!
