St Peter's in the small village of Thurleigh is a 12th century grade 2 listed building and is one of three churches in the Benefice of Milton Ernest, Pavenham and Thurleigh. It has a large open churchyard with a new award winning memorial garden and quiet space within it. St Peter's has a 'Local Ecumenical Partnership' agreement with Thurleigh Baptist Church, and regular 'united' services are held in the church or chapel.
