[FIN] Poikkimaantien silta on 255 metriä pitkä ja se avattiin liikenteelle 22. marraskuuta 2016. Se on rakenteeltaan teräsbetoninen laattalista ja sitä tukevat joen pohjaan ankkuroidut neljä pilaria.
65. pohjoinen leveyspiiri kulkee vinosti sillan poikki jakaen alavirran puoleisen kaiteen kahtia lähes keskeltä. Tämä erikoinen yksityiskohta lienee jäänyt sillan suunnittelijalta huomaamatta. Liikenne sillalla on alusta alkaen ollut vilkasta ja varmasti jatkossa yhä useammat autoilijat löytävät tämän kaupungin kaakkoisosien liikennettä suuresti helpottavan uuden reitin.

[ENG] The Poikkimaantie Bridge is 255 meters long (837 feet) and was opened for traffic on November 22, 2016. It is a reinforced concrete continuous slab bridge supported by four sets of support columns on the river bottom.
The Parallel 65 North crosses the bridge splitting the downstream railing in two almost equal parts. This interesting detail was probably missed by the bridge engineers. The traffic over the bridge has been busy from the opening day and it is expected that even more of the local drivers find this new route relieving the rush hour pressures in the southeastern parts of the town.
