The pathway that saw the birth of the Winston’s Wander geocaching trail is in the process of being upgraded to form the Churchill Art and Culture Pathway.
At present the path takes in the picturesque Eel Hole Creek, Mathison Park and Lake Hyland area also winding through the landscaped gardens of Green Inc. The newer part of the pathway will take in Federation University and its extensive gardens and lake to form a loop of approximately 5km with a number of access points. The walk is navigable by foot or bicycle and is also suitable for wheelchairs.
The pathway features sculpture installations, the Switchback Gallery with an indigenous culture park planned.
