This geocache is hidden on a trail which is "doggy heaven". This litttle known/ used trail will take you along the ocean bank and through the woods with breathtaking views. My dog Mojo and I have seen whales, seals, cedar waxwings, eagles, rabbits, huge waves etc on our treks. During the Christmas season you will come upon a fully decorated Christmas tree set out each year by a couple of local residents for the last 15 plus years ( once featured in the DownHome magazine). The cache is large sized and doggy themed so be sure to bring a " dog related " item to trade. No edible items as per geocache rules. It includes a FTF prize. Dogs absolutely love this trail in the fall with all its unique smells. Few people on the trail ( just a few other dog owners/ lovers) so dogs can be off lease. Be sure to bring a camera. The trail is well maintained by several locals and can be assessed from William's Lane or the road across from Zenville Park leading to the beach.
