Kätkö esittelee Siuntiossa jälleen yhden Porkkalan parenteesin aikaisen bunkkerin. Tämä on Siuntion bunkkereita esittelevän sarjan seitsemäs osa.
Alueelle päästäksesi suosittelen jättämään ajoneuvon joko Sjundbyn linnan alapuolelle parkkiin tai jos lumitilanne sallii, on myös lähempänä paikka. Katso reittipisteet! Pisimmillään kävelymatkaa ei kuitenkaan kerry kuin n. 700 m. Varsinaista polkua bunkkerille ei ole, mutta metsässä on vanhoja ajouria joita pystyy hyödyntämään kulkemiseen.
Kätkön löytääksesi joudut menemään sisälle bunkkeriin, joten otathan mukaasi asianmukaiset välineet. Ainakin taskulamppu ja likaantumista kestävät vaatteet tulee olla. Kypärän käyttö on myös suositeltavaa oman harkinnan mukaan. Bunkkeriin on mahdollista kulkea pääsisäänkäyntiä pitkin tai tykkitornin kohdalta alas. Jälkimmäistä en suosittele runsaan betoniraudoituksen takia. Pääsisäänkäynti on hieman ahdas, mutta sisälle päästyä tilaa on hyvin. Purkki on mikrokokoinen muovirasia ja sisältää lokin, kynän ja kätkötiedotteen. Purkkiin mahtuu pienehköjä kulkijoita tai vaihtareita.
Tämän bunkkerin seinät ovat olleet siniset aikoinaan, ja maalattua pintaa on edelleen havaittavissa.
Bunkkerin länsipuolella kulkee suhteellisen pitkä n. 350 m juoksuhauta metsän reunan muotoa mukaillen.

The cache presents a bunker built during the Porkkala Parenthesis 1944-1956. This is the seventh part of a series called Bunkers of Siuntio.
I recommend to leave your car either to below Sjundby castle parking space or if there is not too much snow, there is also a place closer by. See the waypoints! Walking distance is about 700 m from the castle. There is no actual path to a bunker, but the forest has lots of old tracks left by machinery.
To find the cache you have to go inside the bunker, so please bring proper equipment. At least flashlight and dirt-resistant clothing is needed here. Please bring helmet also if you wish.
There is two possible entrances to the bunker; the main corridor entrance or down the turret head hole. I do not recommend the latter because of a large amounts of concrete ironings. The main entrance is a little cramped, but once inside there is lots of space to walk around. Cache is a micro-sized plastic box and contains a log and pen. Cache can hold smaller travellers.
This bunker walls were once blue, and the painted surface is still noticeable.
On the west side of the bunker is relatively long trench which runs approx. 350 m.
