L'église d'Allagnat répond au vocable de la Translation de Saint-Martin. L'ensemble roman plus ancien (XIIe siècle ?) a été repris en 1727. L'église a subi une restauration de 1833 à 1854. Le clocher, détruit pendant la Révolution, a été reconstruit en 1820.
